A Better Future
Our students come to us from a variety of different settings; sometimes they have had very negative experiences throughout their school lives. This could be due to ill health, behavioural difficulties or other barriers to learning.
Levi Alternative Provision will help to identify the strengths of each student and work with them to get them back on track; this will be either by supporting them to re-engage back to a mainstream or identifying the appropriate environment by supporting them to access the next step in their learning journey.

Working Aims & Ethos
Treating students with dignity and respect, setting a good example, supporting pro-social behaviour and correcting hurtful actions.
• Help young people to know, respect and care about each other and become valued members of the community.
• Using the creation and enforcement of rules as opportunities to foster moral intellect and reasoning self-control, and a generalised respect for themselves and others.
• Involving young people in decision-making and shared responsibility for making Levi Alternative Provision a good place for nurturing and learning.
• To teach young people the importance of morality, the disposition and skills of helping each other and working together.
• Fostering student’s academic responsibility and their regard for the values of learning and working.
• Help young people to have the capacity and commitment to solve conflicts in fair and non-violent ways.

Our Duty
• Working with schools in order to prevent exclusions and disruptive behaviour.
• Provide educational and constructive activities for students during the school day.
• Provide a secure and nurturing environment where mature and responsible adults can be caregivers, role models and mentors to young adults from all cultural backgrounds.
• Engage in collaborative work with other agencies to enable a more comprehensive approach in dealing with disaffection, anti-social behaviour and youth crimes.
• Supporting parents as the young person’s first moral teachers; encouraging parents to support Levi Alternative Provision in its efforts to foster good values.
