Levi’s Journey

Levi’s passion for motorbikes and his fascination with them started at a very young age, around 2 years old. Whenever he heard the sound of a motorbike or saw one passing by, he would become excited and captivated. This early interest marked the beginning of his love for motorbikes.

However, alongside his enthusiasm for motorbikes, Levi faced a health challenge. His hair began falling out in clumps, and it was later diagnosed as Alopecia Areata, a condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, resulting in hair loss. Through his interaction with CAHMS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), it was discovered that Levi’s condition was triggered by anxiety and stress, which he had experienced from a young age. His condition had been raised with the GP (general practitioner) as well as the nursery and primary school, but since he was considered too young for a formal diagnosis, there was limited help available.

In order to support Levi, his mother took it upon herself to stimulate him and provide outlets for his energy. She engaged him in various sports activities. Levi’s first activity was gymnastics, which he thoroughly enjoyed. At the age of 4, he also began participating in Brazilian football (commonly known as futsal). These activities not only allowed him to channel his passion and energy but also served as a means of managing his anxiety and stress levels.

Levi’s journey showcases his early interest in motorbikes and his determination to overcome the challenges posed by his health condition. His mother’s proactive approach in finding outlets for him demonstrates her commitment to supporting his well-being and helping him thrive.
