Our students come to us from a range of backgrounds, and many have faced challenges throughout their education. These challenges may include ill health, behavioural difficulties, or other barriers to learning.
At Levi Alternative Provision, we focus on identifying each student’s strengths and supporting them to move forward positively. We work closely with every student to help them re-engage with education, whether that means returning to mainstream school or transitioning into a more suitable learning environment.

Working Aims & Ethos
At Levi Alternative Provision, we are committed to treating all students with dignity and respect. We aim to set a positive example, support pro-social behaviour, and address any actions that may cause harm.
Our approach focuses on:
• Helping young people to build positive relationships, showing respect and care for others, and becoming valued members of their community.
• Creating and maintaining clear expectations and boundaries, using these as opportunities to develop self-control, moral understanding, and respect for themselves and others.
• Involving students in decision-making and encouraging shared responsibility in creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Promoting the importance of morality, cooperation, and the skills needed to support one another and work together effectively.
• Encouraging academic responsibility and fostering a positive attitude towards learning and personal development.
• Supporting young people to resolve conflicts in a fair, respectful, and non-violent way.

Our Duty
• Working with schools in order to prevent exclusions and disruptive behaviour.
• Provide educational and constructive activities for students during the school day.
• Provide a secure and nurturing environment where mature and responsible adults can be caregivers, role models and mentors to young adults from all cultural backgrounds.
• Engage in collaborative work with other agencies to enable a more comprehensive approach in dealing with disaffection, anti-social behaviour and youth crimes.
• Supporting parents as the young person’s first moral teachers; encouraging parents to support Levi Alternative Provision in its efforts to foster good values.
