Gang Exit Outreach Mentoring Functions

Gang outreach mentoring is one of the most important support and guidance for children and young people. Our aim is to support the individual with taking back control of their own lives. How It Works

We have 3 linked strands of activity:

Strand 1: Self-esteem and Moral development
Levi Alternative Provision will help address the following:
Disaffection, self-esteem/awareness issues, academic low achievement, disruptive and antisocial behaviour in school and the community.

Strand 2: Education and Preparation for work
Provide educational, spiritual, moral, social and cultural support, for young people who are at risk or have been excluded. Levi Alternative Provision will deliver a wide range of confidence building courses to maximise a young person’s potential to become a productive member of society, while promoting a love of life long learning.

      Strand 3: Mentoring
As a part of our wholistic approach each student will receive a mentor that will focus on their attitude to education while also examining lifestyle practises that might act as a barrier to their academic success.

      Review Process:

Parents/carers and referring agencies are invited to a review with the student and staff.
